SERVING OUR CUSTOMERS FOR OVER 100 YEARS
our heritage
In 1915 Ernest Rand established his business at Wetherden in Suffolk installing oil and diesel engines, to provide power for agriculture, mills, factories, pumps and electric lighting plants.
Much has changed over the last hundred years, but the Rand family are still actively involved in the company.
Despite massive developments in technology and working conditions, over our one hundred years of trading much is as valid today as it was in 1915.

- We are still in the forefront for the provision of standby power in the region and invest in the latest equipment and technology to safeguard our customers’ interests.
- We are just as committed to providing the best possible standards of service for our customers.
- Our striving to maintain the highest standards of workmanship is unchanged.
- We believe in the need to train a new generation of engineers and are actively involved in apprenticeship and technical education programmes.
- We pay great attention to reduce risks and promote health and safety for the protection and well-being of our employees, customers and the public.
